The new cloud data center near Paris brings the total number of cloud regions to 38 worldwide. Oracle now operates nine European cloud regions, which are powered by 100% renewable energy.

Oracle acquires Cerner
The acquisition was announced back in December 2021. Now the time has come, Oracle is taking over healthcare IT provider Cerner. With a $28 billion acquisition, this is Oracle’s largest deal to date. With the deal, Oracle wants to go deeper into the healthcare technology space to strategically work with healthcare data.
