People want brands to make them smile and laugh, but executives are afraid to use humor in customer interactions, according to a new research report from Oracle Fusion Cloud Customer Experience (CX) and Gretchen Rubin, five-time New York Times bestselling author and podcaster. The Happiness Report includes insights from more than 12,000 consumers and business leaders across 14 countries and found that people are looking for new experiences that make them smile and laugh, and that they reward brands that use humor with loyalty, advocacy and repeat purchases and turn away from those that don’t.

Bennet operates 63 supermarkets across northern Italy, focusing on price, service and choice. Oracle offers the “EU Sovereign Cloud”, a solution that enables companies to have sovereignty over their data and governance rules.

Oracle has entered into a cooperation with the German Federal Office for Information Security. The Sovereign Cloud is part of Oracle’s distributed cloud strategy and is aimed at companies in highly regulated industries. Customers have access to the same services and support as Oracle’s public cloud offering. Oracle EU Sovereign Cloud is available in all EU member states and worldwide and includes over 100 cloud services with no additional fees. Customers also have access to customer programs such as Oracle Support Rewards.
Oracle and Red Hat collaboration

Red Hat Enterprise Linux is now certified and fully supported on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure virtual machines. Red Hat and Oracle said the alliance will enable companies to standardize their cloud operations on OCI, a common cloud platform that spans from the data center to the distributed OCI cloud.
