Zoho CRM offers many features in terms of multi-channel management, automation, analysis, customisation, processes, pipeline, collaboration and security. There are possibilities to connect to third party solutions via interfaces and an app enables mobile availability.


The Marketplace offers many applications from complementary providers and is very clearly structured. It can be filtered and searched by many different criteria. Zoho CRM software is available in a free version for up to three users. However, only standard functions are included and the system cannot be extended via Zoho’s CRM marketplace.

Zoho CRM is currently particularly excited about the new functions that work with artificial intelligence. These are summarized under the term ZIA. ZIA stands for Zoho Intelligence Assistance. ZIA is used, for example, to make predictions for lead conversion and forecasts for the conclusion of contracts, or to provide reminders of appointments and suggest the best times to contact you. Some of the functions are included starting with the Enterprise Edition. However, all of them are only available in the Ultimate version. Since this part is still very new, the various functions will be introduced gradually. Also the voice bot, ZIA voice, is only available in English so far. However, some new features will be added in the future.

Zoho CRM is available in four different versions for annual billing. In addition to the three variants shown in the table, there is also the Ultimate variant for 100 € per user per month, which contains all functions of the Enterprise version, but for example already includes Premium Support. Premium Support can be added to the Professional and Enterprise versions for a fee. Monthly billing is also possible for all versions. However, this will cost more.

Otherwise, the differences between the respective variants lie in the number of functions included and, as can be seen from the examples in the table, in the scale of limitations. This can make it more difficult for companies to make a selection, since it should be known which functions are required and to what extent.

Another important point is that the standard package does not include the Zoho Mail add-on and the plug-in for Microsoft Outlook and Office integration.
