Thanks to these acquisitions, the CRM provider has now been able to expand its own product portfolio and, according to its own statements, has expanded the CRM functionality into a complete Customer Experience (CX) suite. Explicitly supporting customer service with an own product is an important and right step!
Reassuring information about DSGVO and cloud application: There will be a German cloud – with data center in Frankfurt.
The on-premise customers do not have to worry. The CEO of SugarCRM has made it clear that on-premise will continue to exist, literally “on-prem stays forever”. There will still be updates once a year, probably in spring. And many of the new features of the cloud versions will also be available on-premise.
